VOJISLAV ILIC STREET AT DONJE MEDJUROVO HAS PRIORITY

Residents of the village of Donje Međurovo in the city Municipality of Palilula, which is about five kilometers from the city of Ni , will soon get a reconstructed street of " Vojislav Ilic". " While we have more than a decade in the 21st century, this road is unpaved for years and almost impassable, and this situation significantly affects the quality of life for the inhabitants of the villag . Sewer and water were given to the village, but the asphalt, according to them, does not make it. At the request of the Council of the citizens of the Donje Medjurovo, the president of the City Municipality of Palilula, Boban Džunić, talked with locals and visited the controversial "Vojislav Ilic" street .

As pointed out by the President of Municipality of Palilula Boban Džunić, one of the priorities for the development of Palilula in the coming period is the improvement of the quality of life in rural areas. "Today I heard from people who are calling me, they are dissatisfied with a street in Donje Medjurovo grade, which is determined by the dynamics of work. In an interview with the mayor and other relevant authorities, we concluded that the street "Vojislav Ilic", must be a priority. We completed the sewer and water system, and there is no reason to not continue work. Contractor will pour gravel and change the surface of the road, at a distance of about 200.metara and then, when it starts to run asphalt plant, the streets will be paved. This is a good example of cooperation with the Council of the citizens. When people are united - states Džunić, then the president of municipality and the Mayor of Nis can help them.

According to Dragan Randjelovic, president of the Citizens Council of Donje Medjurovo, there are needs of infrastructure projects in the village, except for street paving, there is the need of finishing sewerage system and street lights. The works on these capital facilities were started five - six years ago and sadly stopped as it were, at the very beginning. It takes a small part of the sewerage network that needs to be finished. Our streets are in a disastrous state. We are forced to drive our children, because of the mud ride, to school, and our neighbors, who go to work often have to be coated and carry a change of clothes. The Directorate for the construction of the city is just giving promises of work but of which nothing has happened. With the support of our community and municipality of Palilula we started the decisive action to highlight the flaws and inconsistencies in the realization of the projected activities.
